MINDFULNESS WITH HORSES
Join a small group of like minded people in the immersive experience of guided mindfulness; in the beautiful surroundings of nature, with our equine friends grazing nearby.
Why do horses help with mindfulness? By their very nature, horses give us a beautiful path to follow with being present. Horses don't practice mindfulness - they just ARE mindful. Learn from these beautiful creatures how to embrace the moment and relax from the stresses of life.
Wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes, bring a hat, picnic blanket or yoga mat and a water bottle. This is an outdoor event, so come prepared for nature!
Please arrive on time as we will walk together as a group into a private space where we will participate in a grounding and centering guided mindfulness meditation. Afterward you will have time to stay in your newly relaxed body while listening to the sounds of nature and observing the horses. If the group agrees, we can then meet the horses up close and personal.
You do not need to have any experience with horses or with mindfulness. You do not need to touch the horses and there is no riding during these sessions.
